Live to Work, Not Work to Live:
Stratford Upon Avon Butterfly House, Stratford Upon Avon Fringe Festival 2012
Installation using the silk worm/moth (Bombyx mori) to open a discussion with the viewer about our interaction with nature and the natural world- domesticating insects and animals for industry. Our outlook on the way in which we live, and interventions we have to face in that impact our quality of life. Examples are the effects of working for large organisations. Exploring our reliance, just like the silkworm relies on the hand of mankind to survive.
Also the way the Government tries to “celebrate diversity” and the effects that it has on our quality of life.
