Double Cocoon-

“Sometimes we love someone so much that the bond we make is unbreakable and suffocating”

Drawings of the double cocoon and a double cocoon itself.

Some of my silkworms decided to choose their life partners before becoming adult moths.  They usually chose their mates through pheromones they give off when at adult moth state.

The result is they spin a cocoon together, double the size and thickness of a single worm cocoon. Thus making it impossible for them to break out and emerge from, once they pupate.

This work, a metaphor for love.
